To register for the Chardon High School Swim Club, swimmers must :

Complete the requirements for registering with the Geauga Otters

Have a physical on record at the high school

Keep your grades up to the required standard and meet all HS eligibility requirements

The swim team acts just like any other sport at the High School, except we do not get financial support from the school board which is why we are called a “club”. However, you will not be able to receive a varsity letter. We do have an awards banquet but this year the team will not be recognized at the High School Banquet.

You will compete against other High School swimmers and you will be offered the opportunity to attend HS districts.

Until our first HS meet you will compete as a YMCA Otter at the YMCA swim meets. This is a great place to get started.

You will be required to purchase a team swim suit and a black swim cap. The HS warm-up is an optional expense. You will purchase these items from our vendor online and have them shipped to your home.
