Swim Team News Thank you, Thank you, Thank you: Thank you to all the Volunteers, High School Swimmers,
and Otter Swimmers who made the Divisional Meet at Spire a huge success. Everything went wonderful, every swim meet has a
few hiccups, and the ones that shortly delayed the meet were out of our hands. GREAT JOB EVERYONE. I feel blessed to be a
part of such a wonderful team with great parents and awesome kids. Thanks again. -Coach Matt 1/17 - All divsional information is now posted on the Divisional

12/12/11 - Tip courtesy of the St. Jean Family: I just found out a wonderful easy way to clear chlorine residue from hair!. Wet hair and apply about a 1/4 cup if baking soda work into hair and let sit for 5 minutes rinse and shampoo hair as usual. No more play dough hair. Thanks Diane for the Tip! 11/16 Starting on
SUNDAY NOV 27th: Coaches Matt and Becky will be offering a
swim clinics for swim team members every sunday. From 330-4 will be 10 and unders, and from 4-430 will be 11 and olders. This
is how this will work.... 1) there will be 5 spots available every sunday for said time slots 2) they will be filled on a
first come first serve basis 3) you sign up at the ymca front desk or you can call in. 4) the cost will be $5 per child per
lesson. if these fill up very quickly and are as popular
as i expect them to be, then we will be adding more as the season goes on. please talk to matt if any questions
11/5 - IT IS OFFICIAL!!!! On February 4th - Saturday, we will be hosting the Divisional Championship
meet at SPIRE facility. This is a HUGE event to host. We will need every family - and friends if you can recruit
them - to volunteer at this meet. We will also be looking for ALL the HS swimmers to work at this meet. We will
be hosting NINE teams! It will be an excellant opportunity for us to raise a significant amount of money for the team
that we can use into next year. Please set aside this day to get a babysitter for your younger kids that are not on
the team. We will be putting together some small committees to get the meet together then we will be coming to you with
volunteer opportunities. The good news is that the other teams are also required to send volunteers.
