Team Fees - Winter 2008/2009 Season
Each swimmer is required to pay an annual swim team fee. The amount depends on which training group the swimmer practices with. The fee covers the winter season through Divisional Championships or 19 weeks of training (September 22, 2008 to February 2, 2009). Fees will be reassessed for all the swimmers that make League Championships based on the necessary pool time and participating swimmers.
Sixty percent of the swim team fee is due on September 8, 2007 before the first team practice. If funds are not received the swimmer will not be allowed to attend practice. You will receive monthly invoices detailing your expenses and amount due. Fees can be paid all at once at initial registration or can be divided into 2 payments - the first payment is 60% of the fee, due at registration, the 2nd payment of 40% would be due Dec. 1st.
All swimmers must be an active member of The Geauga YMCA. This fee is paid to the YMCA.

Each swimmer is requested to participate in team fundraisers. The fundraisers will be used to reduce the swimmer’s out of pocket expenses by paying for pool rental, coaching salaries, award expenses, equipment and other team expenses.

There are no refunds if you decide to leave the program during the season.
Swimmer's team fees are based on group placement. In addition to team fees, swimmers must be members of the Geauga YMCA.
Any swimmer who wishes to also register as a USA Swimming athlete and swim in USA-S competitions must pay an additional fee determined by USA swimming. This is completely optional to each individual swimmer.
